Appointments & Consultations

Our staff will be pleased to assist you in any way possible and all efforts will be made to accommodate your schedule. Everyone at our office is at your service.

Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, surgery can be performed the same day as the consultation. However, patients with a complex medical history or treatment plan will require a additional appointment(s) to provide appropriate treatment. A pre-operative consultation and physical examination is mandatory for patients undergoing IV anesthesia for surgery.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • Your surgical referral slip and any X-rays if applicable
  • A list of medications you are presently taking
  • Your photo ID
  • Your medical & dental insurance card(s).

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you as soon as possible.

We try our best to stay on schedule and to minimize your waiting time. Due to the fact that our doctors provide surgical services, various situations may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency cases can also occur and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding.

Cancellations

If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. This courtesy on your part will make it possible to give your appointment to another patient.

Updating Records

It is very important that your doctor have your up-to-date address and phone number. In case of an emergency we must be able to contact you. Please make sure the receptionist is aware of any changes. Also, please make sure we have both work and home phone numbers and another emergency contact number if possible.
